Peruvian born, Miami raised, Elise Roedenbeck Valderrama started her career as a stand-up comedian in New York City. She was soon scouted by ABC News for their Univision joint venture, Fusion. Valderrama left Fusion Network to focus on acting; however, during her time there she proudly worked as a comedian correspondent on Fusion Live (formerly The Morning Show). She also created and co-hosted the improvised political game-show, Dumocracy as well as directing the humorous documentary, The Search for Sexy with Sex Nerd Sandra.
In 2022, Valderrama starred in the short dramatic film, F* the M Train, directed by Emmy nominated filmmaker, Peter Gagnon. F* the M Train premiered at the NYC Indie Theatre Film Festival and received a Best Director nomination at Festival of Cinema NYC.
In 2024, she directed & starred in her avant-garde slasher film, Bloodercream (Press Kit PDF), which won Best Experimental Film at the Coney Island Film Festival, 2024. Most recently, she starred in La Diablesse, a noir horror film directed by Grace Perez.
