Peruvian born, Miami raised, Elise Roedenbeck Valderrama started her career as a stand-up comedian in New York City. She was soon scouted by ABC News for their Univision joint venture, Fusion. Valderrama left Fusion Network to focus on acting; however, during her time there she proudly worked as a comedian correspondent on Fusion Live (formerly The Morning Show). She also created and co-hosted the improvised political game-show, Dumocracy, hosted by Cyrus McQueen.
In 2022, Valderrama starred in the short dramatic film, F* the M Train, directed by Emmy nominated filmmaker, Peter Gagnon. F* the M Train premiered at the NYC Indie Theatre Film Festival and received a Best Director nomination at the Festival of Cinema NYC.

In 2024, she directed & starred in her avant-garde slasher film, Bloodercream, which won Best Experimental Film at the Coney Island Film Festival, the Darkside New Jersey Film Festival and the Krampus Film Festival. She also starred in La Diablesse, a noir horror film directed by Grace Perez.
Currently, she is playing the lead in an experimental feature film by writer/director Tinbete Daniels–set to premiere in 2026.
